Software development on an existing workstation. This entry does not establish a new robot, custom hardware build or autonomous publishing capability.

TEST STATUS / SEPARATE FROM THE ORIGINAL RECORD

What later checks established.

Still open: Actual mobile-device layout and secure remote access unverified; API, health and draft content are not cached.

01 / BUILD LOG 029

The original development record

Mini-Rook's existing Nest, chat, Growth Draft Queue and evidence review receive a responsive mobile CSS layer (small-screen layout, touch targets, readable editing, scrollable messages and sticky composer). The application now advertises an installable PWA manifest, standalone display mode and a local raven SVG icon. A service worker caches only the static application shell for offline fallback; it intentionally never caches /api/ traffic, health, draft content, responses or POST actions.

An audit uncovered that The Nest referenced nest.js but the Python server did not serve it. The route has now been added alongside routes for mobile.js, mobile.css, sw.js, manifest.webmanifest and rook-icon.svg. Live status and Nest navigation therefore have an addressable script once the server restarts.

Security boundary: The backend remains bound to 127.0.0.1 on Fury, with no public port, new remote access, authentication shortcut, or Tailscale exposure. Installability at localhost on Fury does not mean mobile network access is working. Secure remote connectivity, authentication and real device testing remain future acceptance work.

Verified on Fury: Python compilation PASS; node --check app.js, nest.js, mobile.js and sw.js PASS; manifest/asset presence and loopback-only static tests PASS. The creator confirmed that the updated Nest worked in the browser and that Chrome offered an installation control; Mini-Rook was installed successfully as a standalone application and opened and worked as expected. This validates local desktop PWA installability and basic function, but does not yet verify actual mobile-device layout or remote access.

Status: READY TO PUBLISH — local desktop PWA acceptance PASS; real mobile and secure remote access pending. Chapter VIII — The Nest.
