01 / BUILD LOG 028
The original development record
Mini-Rook receives its first dedicated workshop home: The Nest. The new control deck is built into the existing local page without replacing Companion, Workshop, Growth, Quality Gate, GitHub Release Companion, or Draft Queue. It features a responsive dark industrial Rookweld treatment with restrained cyan glows, warm forge-gold accents, a raven emblem and reduced-motion support.
Live status badges pull the actual local /health result, current model label, and saved draft count from /api/drafts. Three navigation cards select the established Companion, Workshop and Growth modes. Refresh status is manual. No automatic publishing or external calls were added. The visual effect is cosmetic and the raven is an emoji, not an illustrated character asset yet.
Verified on Fury: node --check nest.js PASS, node --check app.js PASS, Python syntax PASS, static Nest asset checks PASS. Real browser layout and navigation acceptance are pending.
Status: AWAITING USER ACCEPTANCE TEST. Chapter VIII — The Nest.
