01 / BUILD LOG 026
The original development record
Mini-Rook now applies a bounded claim-triage layer before suggesting Editorial Repair Desk changes. Instead of treating every unmatched sentence as a material claim, it distinguishes nonclaims (hashtags, bare source labels and URLs), product-function assertions, high-risk absolute promises, marketing opinions and other text.
The Repair Desk skips nonclaims and ordinary filler and gives context-aware cautious alternatives for connectivity, licensing and release/platform statements. Where no safe grounded alternative is known, it displays an explicit editorial review placeholder instead of fabricating supporting facts. Any selected replacement still modifies only the unsaved browser editor. No draft is auto-approved, rewritten on disk or published.
Verified: Python syntax PASS; targeted tests excluded hashtags and source labels, retained functional assertions and offline guarantees, and exercised specific and placeholder repair wording. Limitations: keyword heuristics can miss subtle implications and still require human fact checking. The creator confirmed in the real browser that hashtags and the 'Official GitHub release' label were removed from Repair Desk suggestions, while a functional connectivity claim received a context-aware Safer wording proposal and changed only the editor text. Human UI acceptance PASS for these targeted behaviors; no independent claim truth verification is implied.
Status: READY TO PUBLISH — scoped human acceptance PASS. Chapter VII — The Raven Takes Initiative.
