Three deliberate repair options that leave saved drafts untouched

01 / BUILD LOG 025

The original development record

Mini-Rook gains an Editorial Repair Desk beneath the existing Check claims report for GitHub release-based drafts. It identifies potentially unsupported release statements based on the conservative Evidence Editor classification and a narrow risk-phrase detector, then offers three human-controlled choices: safer generic wording, a visible verification placeholder, or removal of the claim.

Choosing a suggestion changes only the browser's unsaved draft text. The user must inspect the full draft and choose Save edit separately; saving resets editorial status to draft under the existing queue rules. The Repair Desk neither approves nor publishes a post, and its suggestions are not verified rewrites of product facts. Current heuristics intentionally prioritize safety over natural marketing prose, and can miss subtler claims.

Verified: Python and JavaScript syntax checks PASS. Isolated suggestion test produced the three options and passed. Human UI acceptance confirmed the Repair Desk renders the three options. The creator selected Safer wording on the offline/activation claim and observed that only the browser editor text changed; reloading with F5 restored the original persisted draft. This verifies non-persistence without Save edit, not the factual correctness or editorial quality of the replacement. Filtering out hashtags, link captions and overly generic wording remains future work.

Status: READY TO PUBLISH — scoped human UI acceptance PASS; editorial limitations remain. Chapter VII — The Raven Takes Initiative.
