MINI-ROOK / BUILD LOG 007

Giving the raven an editorial desk.

Local draft states, review and deliberate approval

EDITORIAL WORKFLOW · LATER PARTIAL VALIDATION. Adapted from the project development record BUILD_LOG_007.md. Results describe the recorded checkpoint; publishing this article adds no new runtime test.

TECHNICAL CHECKPOINT

What this build actually records.

Stack and method
Python · local draft queue · review-state transitions
Recorded progress
Later Log 009 observes rewrite, history and approval reset; not every review transition tested.
Still open at this checkpoint
Full state transitions, persistence and authenticated mobile access.

Software development on an existing workstation. This entry does not establish a new robot, custom hardware build or autonomous publishing capability.

TEST STATUS / SEPARATE FROM THE ORIGINAL RECORD

What later checks established.

The later human test in Log 009 observed a saved-draft rewrite, approval returning to Draft and the previous text in Version History. That is a limited workflow observation, not a complete test of every review transition.

Still open: The complete state-transition matrix, restart persistence and authenticated mobile access remain unverified here. No automatic publishing was enabled.

01 / BUILD LOG 007

The original development record

The creator has published our existing Mini-Rook build logs on Rookweld.com, and we are keeping this incremental format while staying transparent about test status.

This iteration adds a local editorial workflow to Mini-Rook Growth: draft, needs revision, in review, approved. Text can be edited in the interface, and edits reset its status to draft. Approval requires moving to the review state first. Nothing is automatically published, emailed or scheduled.

The change was written directly to the Fury development project. Syntax, API transitions and the UI still need fresh smoke tests before this milestone can be marked PASS. Next steps include source/evidence checks, authenticated mobile access and eventually explicit scheduling for approved posts.
