MINI-ROOK / BUILD LOG 015

The Raven Starts Watching the Workshop

A manual, opt-in radar for changes in approved project notes

MANUAL LOCAL RADAR · LIMITED HUMAN UI PASS. Adapted from the project development record BUILD_LOG_015.md. Results describe the recorded checkpoint; publishing this article adds no new runtime test.

TECHNICAL CHECKPOINT

What this build actually records.

Stack and method
Approved document allowlist · file-hash baseline · manual Growth scan · deduplicated suggestions
Recorded progress
Syntax and isolated baseline/change/repeat tests pass; creator observes baseline and repeat scans in Growth.
Still open at this checkpoint
Live project changes still need UI tests; no background watcher, arbitrary scan, command execution or autonomous posting.

Software development on an existing workstation. This entry does not establish a new robot, custom hardware build or autonomous publishing capability.

TEST STATUS / SEPARATE FROM THE ORIGINAL RECORD

What later checks established.

Python and JavaScript syntax passed. Isolated tests observed no opportunities on the baseline scan, one suggestion after modifying a test document and no duplicates on an unchanged repeat scan. The creator confirmed the baseline and immediate repeat behavior in Growth. The creator explicitly accepted publication of this log and Chapter VI.

Still open: Actual changes to live project documents have not been tested through the UI. This is a manually triggered, opt-in local prototype with an approved document allowlist, not scheduled background monitoring or autonomous generation/publication. Only this development record is public; private radar data and tools remain private.

01 / BUILD LOG 015

The original development record

Mini-Rook now has a first opt-in Opportunity Radar. It inspects only pre-approved project documentation already allowlisted for Workshop Awareness. The tool is triggered manually in Growth; it has no scheduled background watcher, autonomous posting, command execution, arbitrary directory scan, or automatic text generation.

On its first scan, it records a file-hash baseline and produces no opportunities. Later changes to available allowlisted documents become source-linked suggestions for human investigation. It deduplicates unchanged subsequent scans. Missing documents are not interpreted as deleted projects.

Verified through isolated tests: Python and JavaScript syntax pass. Baseline scan creates no suggestions, a modified test document creates one suggestion, and a repeated unchanged scan creates zero duplicate suggestions. The creator subsequently confirmed the Growth UI's first baseline scan and immediate repeat scan behaved as expected, without extra suggestions. Actual changes to live project documentation have not yet been tested through the UI.

Status: READY TO PUBLISH — limited human UI PASS. Chapter VI — The Watchtower (proposed new chapter). Do not publish until user acceptance is recorded. The Radar is a manually triggered local prototype, not unattended monitoring.
